The Union Gospel Mission of Salem is gearing up to celebrate an amazing achievement. After an incredibly run capital campaign and a ground breaking back in November of 2019, the new Men’s Mission here in Salem is celebrating its ribbon cutting on Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at 777 Commercial Street NE.
AC+Co Architecture was blessed to be involved in a few different ways. Lisa Mance led all interior design efforts for the new building and worked to create spaces that are both welcoming and durable for our houseless neighbors to enjoy and find sanctuary in. Lisa has worked with both UGM and the Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency through multiple projects that have given her deep insight into creating spaces that are comfortable and inviting, while still remaining incredibly durable, cost-effective, and easy to maintain.
Our Marketing Director, Katie Costic, also joined the UGM team’s steering committee to help fundraise for the building and its God driven purpose within our community. We are so excited to be a Sponsor of this year’s Walk for Hope and celebrate the new Men’s Mission Grand Opening and we’d love to see you out at the walk for hope alongside team AC+Co Architecture!
